Truck School LGV Training Directory

C1 - Rigid vehicle 3.5 tonnes up to 7.5 tonnes
Any vehicle between 3.5 & 7.5 tonnes gross vehicle weight. The 7.5 tonne training and test is the same as the Category C but in a smaller lorry.

Minimum Age: 18

You must have passed the Category B test (car).
You will need to pass the LGV theory test before taking the C1 driving test.

When you have passed your C1 theory test and decide to move onto Category C you will not have to do another theory test.

Normal Duration: 3-5 days

Course typically includes: Use of tachographs, drivers hours, etc
